Sims 3 : Marx Legacy ANNOUCEMENT

I'm afraid I have bad news though. And I've tried everything to fix this, believe me. Donna was about to birth the fourth and last child when something clearly went wrong. The name and trait prompt kept popping up, and no matter how many times I filled it out, she wouldn't actually have the child. I tried ending her pregnancy and generating another child - that just gave me an error. I checked with my other worlds - this doesn't happen. Only with the Marx household. I tried to generate a child between two other sims in the household, but no, same error.
:( So it seems my game is done when it comes to letting the Marx family procreate. This is actually kind of upsetting for me - I was having so much fun playing them and posting updates here for you guys. :\ So I'm really sorry.
I'll still be uploading Curt and Donna sometime soon - so there's that to look forward to, but other than that, this just really sucks...
When I'm ready, I'll start another legacy and post it here but... damn, I wish I could find a way around this... :\"
I tried so many different things - even moving them to a different lot. It didn't work. I don't know what went wrong since the Marx'ss's'ssss' are the only ones affected. This honestly does bother me a bit, I'm gonna miss everyone, but. D; I'm gonna see who I can salvage before I just scrap everything and start anew.
